Here is Bubbles...
This sweet 42" square quilt is super easy to piece. The 16 bubbles are six inch squares from 3 six inch width of fabric strips. The sashing and borders are cut 4 1/2 " wide. Ten strips would be plenty.
Here is a close up.
Have fun.
Again we are looking forward to seeing your pictures.
See you next Tuesday.
I love the look of all the white in many contemporary quilts, but isn't there a problem with every least bit of dirt showing up? Difficult for me to imagine making a quilt with lots of white if the quilt is intended for use. Am I missing something. I love working with black, but that has a similar problem--every speck of lint shows up. Thoughts?
ReplyDeleteYep, white has its faults but it is so much fun to work with. Luckily this small quilt has little time or money invested in it so I feel it will be used and loved for awhile and then happily be "retired." You make a good point that while we are making our design choices we need to recognize the wisdom of each one as well.
ReplyDeletelove the bubbly fabric - can you tell me what it is? judith
