Robert Kaufman Stockholm Fabric Giveaway

Marny here...
A few posts back we shared that Brioche and Baguette was being made up in a new line of fabric from Robert Kaufman.  The line is called Stockholm and the designer is Robin Zingone.

Here is the version we hung in our booth at the Houston Quilt Market.
The version we made for Robert Kaufman's booth is on a grey Kona Solid.
Unfortunately we neglected getting a picture of it hanging in their booth.
Here are the three wonderful colorways of Stockholm.
This is the colorway we got to use in Brioche & Baguette.  It will be on the new pattern cover.
This colorway is featured in a new project that April is quilting today!  It will be revealed at a later date.    Top secret for now.
Pinks and reds--very yummy and my personal favorite.
A fat quarter bundle of Stockholm in the pink and red colorway is our giveaway this week.

Please leave a comment about any pinks and reds you are seeing pop up in ads, fabrics, nature etc.  It is all around us. We can only mail to a winner living in the United States.  Postage is the stickler.  The drawing is open until midnight Monday, November 14th.

Till Tuesday....

  1. I love some of the rich, saturated pinks that are showing up in fabrics lately. Grand Bazaar has this amazing pink that I love.

  2. What a great collection! I'm not usually tuned into pinks and reds - guess I'll have to start keeping my eyes open :)

  3. I'm seeing a lot of deep fuschia in clothes this year. I'm currently wearing a hot pink shirt and I bought a number of fuschia items for my daughter for Fall/Winter. I've had to label her clothes because the fuschia is so deep it is easy to mix up with red, until she gets out in the sun.

  4. These are so beautiful. I really love them. I have been seeing red right outside our door as the pomegranates ripen.

  5. What classy fabrics! Bold and vibrant! Have fun playing around with them for your new projects. April, you must be about to burst, having to keep all those secrets! My niece's bridal bouquet was crafted of all pinks/reds/maroons/greenery. A few years ago, I made a quilt based on pinks/reds/browns. My dinner plates quilt has colors ranging from peachy pink to cherry red. It is wonderful that the fabric designers capture these colors and make them go "wow" with a basic color such as black, or white, or maybe even grey.

  6. Stockholm is a wonderful print! Since I'm not much of a flowery gal - with some exceptions - this design really appeals to me. Honestly, I haven't noticed much in the way of reds and pinks as I've been focused on greys, oranges, and chartreuse! I do have a red and white quilt though, made many years ago. I appreciate the chance to win your lovely giveaway.

  7. As it is fall pink is not really my go to color and aside from some hidden fuschia in the changing leaves and berries I am not seeing it much... rather I am reminded of a Diana Vreeland quote "pink is the navy blue of India"

  8. Wow, love this fabric collection. I've been seeing a lot of fuchsia in ladies fashion. I love red, so I see it everywhere.

  10. Just yesterday I was searching in my mind for a quilting scheme I wanted to use on a new quilt......and what I settled on very happily was using threads for both machine quilting and some hand echo quilting in a lovely pinkish red. The more I see it developing, the more I like it.

I LOVE that blue colorway up there, but it's all beautiful.

  11. I'm in LOVE with the red "burning bush" leaves that are all over our area right now--they were at their peak this weekend I think. They were inspiring me to start the Red & White quilt I've had on my to-do list for a few years already....

  12. sent to our email to add to the "post a comment"

Lots of red leaves outside, soon (maybe even tonight!) to be replaced by the sharp contrast of black branches against a gray sky and snowy white ground. Gorgeous fabric--eager to see what you come up with for your new pattern using it! Jane

  14. Along the walkway between the parking lot and my daughter's school is the most vibrant pink bouganvilla growing on a tan stucco wall. It looks stunning! (Yes, it's still there now - I live in Southern California.)

  15. I am loving all the red and aqua popping up everywhere in fabric and quilts. Such a great combination!

  16. I think our eyes always go to red first. There is a lot of red seen in packaging at the grocery stores. And I get to see lots of red advertising on NASCAR vehicles as we watch the chase (a reason I don't get much quilting done on the weekends right now).

  17. I was in a meeting just yesterday and noticed one gal had on a fuschia shirt on. Go figure. Those colors are even in boring office meetings.

  18. I love this new line! Saw a beautiful sunrise the other day with some gorgeous pinks and reds.

  19. Love the reds, pinks and oranges together! The sunrise is showing us how pretty they are. While in a quilt shop on Wednesday, I noticed the reds
and pinks with alot of Kaffe fabrics.
Lois...I have learned to keep secrets a long time ago! It isn't easy.......April

  20. I have mixed feelings about pink. I love it for some things, but too much gets weird. And I'm not a fan of the current pink and lime green as Christmas colors trend.

  21. I love pink with green...it is romantic and flirty at the same time. That color combination is my favorite. Love seeing it in clothing or vintage plates.

Right now I am really loving the burnt red with mustard yellow. Something about that color combination that oozes fall. My dining room is decorated in those two colors right now. I also like to add deep purple to make it really luscious.

  22. I love the dark pink, almost magenta of my peonies!

  23. My five-year old daughter and I are always commenting about the reds and pinks we see in the Arizona sunsets here! Definitely can't miss the red and pink!

  24. My quilting buddy just finished a scrappy red and creams quilt, so nice! Outside my front door the burning bushes are bright red!

  25. Just before midnight! Love this line! I used to hate pink, but I'm starting to appreciate and even like it the more I see it!
